The battle of the bulge continues! Yesterday was a crazy and busy day…One of the goals I had for the new year was to put
on a Goal Setting Workshop for the folks at my church.I had to be at the church for both services to
announce it so I didn’t get the chance to go to
the gym first thing in the morning…
My plan was to go the gym after The Goal Setting Workshop
which was from 1-4.
We had a small turn out but the seminar went well.
I say we, and by that I mean, Vickie Pieper, my girl
friend and me…
By the time my workshop was over, I noticed my knee
was bothering me and decided because I was on my feet
for over 3 hours I will just weight in and not do any
walking. I had injured my knee a few months back and
do not want to re-injure it….
I noticed…
Being at church all day through me off my eating schedule…
By the time I had finished The Goal Setting Workshop I was
starving. I was really hungry. I also realized I did not
drink enough water through out the day. Big mistake!
So I went to my gym to weighed in and was blown away that I
had lost another 3.5 pounds!
Then after weighing in went home to pick Vickie up and then
we went to dinner…I had an orange juice and bowl of War Wanton soup.
Plus about 5 large glasses of water…
So this morning I went to the gym and weighed in and I
gained back 2.5 pounds.
Starting weight: 348.5
Todays weight: 335.5
At first I was a bit shock of the weight gain…But I’ve been
working hard at my eating and working out consistently.
I started my diet and exercise on Tuesday January 1.
And it’s been 7 days I’ve lost 13 pounds. That’s still fantastic.
I did have an extra food bar and orange. No JUNK FOOD.
Besides that, I didn’t go off my diet so I’ll just have to keep a close eye.
May the soup had more salt and made me retain more water…
Whatever…
I’m feeling good and fell like I am really on track…
In regards to The Goal Workshop…Yes, I offered it to the
people in my church, but the fact is, I needed to do for my
own goals too!
My Weight Goal For 2008?
I would like to be down to 225lbs by 12-31-2008.
I’ll keep you posted and see you tomorrow!
