Hi Fat and Fit Fans,
Today is my first day with a Athletic Trainer.
I’ll tell you more about that in a moment. But it was definitly
time for me to be working One on One with a certified
Las Vegas based Athletic trainer.
With that in mind…
One of things things I really got from going through
the Dr Phil Show experience was that I really can’t
accomplish my weight/health goals by my self…
I need a TEAM…
I have good support around me and I have some fantastic
freinds who are also healthy and exremely fit…
Like my friend Scott Sanchez, the Olympic Trainer from Maui.
This guy knows his business and has a number of Gold Medalist
and World Champions that he has trained to prove it…
Another friend…
Werner Berger who has climbed the 7 Summits of the
worldat age 72 and just got back from climbing Mt. Everest!
I’ve got my honey Vickie, My father, Kevin Davis, Doug Taylor,
Stu Mclaren, and others who are in my corner…
What I discovered is, I needed a trainer here, in Las Vegas that
can help me to get on track. I thought I could do it by my self
and maybe at some point I will again…
However, for right now I need help….
Drum Roll………..………….
Let me introduce Zoe Albright to my TEAM. She is a certified
Trainer. I’ve seen her there training people off and on for the
past year and recently offically met her. She is the person that I
first heard say, No Chips – No Dip!
Today was our first meeting…
We set up some guidelines and daily tasks.
But what really caught my attention today was when Zoe
was talking about food.
She talked about food.
FOOD IS NOT: Love, Fun, Pain, Hobby, Pain Killer, Recreation etc…
Bottom Line – Food is Fuel! That’s it!
She made an analogy to a car. If the car’s gas tank is full, we don’t
put more fuel in, right? Even if the tank is half emty, it doesn’t make
sense to put more gas in the tank. You put gas in the tank when you
are running low and going on empty.
That is how we and I need to treat my body.
Fuel it when it’s low or empty, PERIOD!
I just wanted to share this interaction I had with Zoe…
THis was my first day with my athletic trainer!
As I learn and discover some new things, I’ll be sure to
share them you…
That’s All For Now…
No Chips – No Dip – No Cookies – No Cake!
