Hi Fat and Fit Fans,

I did work out today for 45 minutes…

But what I’d really like to share today is a mothers day poem…

A Mother’s Way

A mother is protective, when bad is near…
She watches over, til the danger is clear,

A mother’s love, knows no bounds,
She stays up late, just to hear their sounds,

A mother will hold you, when you’re sad,
She’ll rub your tummy, til you feel glad,

A mother’s job, is to help them grow,
She also teaches, they’ll reap what they sow,

A mother’s journey, a life long ride,
It is her children, to whom she is tied,

A mother will hug you, for no reason at all,
Out of the blue, you feel ten feet tall,

A mother encourages, and says you can do it,
Her children trust, she will help them through it,

A mother disciplines, when they go astray,
So when they grow up, they’ll be ok,

A mother is, a spiritual light,
That God trusted, to guide their sight,

A mother does, so many things,
It’s beautiful to see, when she spreads her wings,

They’re so important, we give them a day,
And that day is called, Mother’s Day !

Have a Blessed Day!

Day 127…Back Working Out Again

Hello Fat and Fit Fans,

May 7, 2008
DAY
128…

Todays Weight: 330 lbs

Here Are My Exercise Stats…

Date and Time 05/07/2008 14:31:44

Elapsed Time:    60:02
Calories Burned: 729
Distance:              2.64 Miles
Distance Climbed:631 feet
Average Speed:   2.64 MPH
Average Pace:    22:45 Mile
Average Heart Rate: 126

These are stats that come from the actual
Tread Mill I walk on at my heaalth club…

They have a cool USB port that I can download
my exact results…
——————

Anyway, I got off track again, but I’m getting
back on the horse, again!

Yesterday Scott Sanchez, Olympic Trainer from
Maui Hawwaii came to Las Vegas again. He was
here in town about a month and a half ago. Scott was
here this time for some other personal business.
However, we met for dinner and he kicked my ass,
with love…

Bottom line, I have not been consistent with
my workouts and food choices. Plus, I stopped
calling in to report my results and or challenges.
No accountability.

I’ve been blaming other things for distracting me.

Scott trains world champions and for the most part
rarely if ever does he work with someone like myself,
a non-professional athlete….

So our conversation came down to this:
Daily Patterns, Habbits, Achievable Goals and Food Choices…

Scott said, “For starters we need to pull back the reigns
and set some achievable goals. Don’t think about losing
100 pounds and or climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.”

“Let’s start with small success and build upon them.
Start with committing to working out at least 15 minutes
a day 6 days a week. Let’s starting building some
patterns of success. Then we can expand upon them”

Then I asked, how do I handle the fact that I told
people I was going to lose 100 pounds by August 2008
and then climb Mt. Kilimanjaro…

Scott said, just tell people that ask, that I made a
promise that I could not keep at this time.

I thought by telling people about my big goal it would help
me to stay on track. well, it hasn’t helped.

About Food Choices:
Scott says I have 2 choices when it comes to eatting:
Is the food healing or poison?

Will this food help heal my body or posin it?
Those are the choices…

So where am I now?
Yes, I am back on the horse to gain my health back.
I went to the gym and worked out today.
Yes, I still desire to lose this 100 pounds and better.
It just may take longer than I had planned.

Mt. Kilimanjaro?
Yes I still would like to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro
but I can’t and shouldn’t even think about this until
I lose at least 100 pounds…

THat’s all for now.

Day 60…I Met UFC Randy Coutoure Last Night!

Hello Fat and Fit Fans,Day 60…February 29, 2008…Well February has been pretty much a wash as
far as my diet goesIm still struggling with it. I have
been going to the gym but not working as
hard as I could be…

I did go to the gym this moring and walked for 45 minutes.
I have people that want to help me, but it is still a struggle.
However last night I had the good fortune of meeting UFC
Champion Randy Coutoure
.

Some friends of mine,  Maria Ngo and Ray DuGray, a married
couple known as ‘The Entrepreneur Doctors”,  interview the top
entrepreneurs in a TV show The Strip View Live. I got a special invite
To attend last nights taping and it turrned out they were short a camera
guy so I worked camera 1.

There special guest for the evening was UFC Champion
Randy Couture.
He was awesome!  I got a chance to ask him for
his advice about my journey to lose 100 pounds and he had some
great ideas for me.

They filmed my question so I am hoping this next week to get a
copy of it to post on my blog.  But Ray and Maria intervied Randy
for 45 minutes.

Some of the things that they talked about during his interview was:
* Visualizing his matches before the happen
* Visualizing winning
* Focusing the self talk in his mind and
* Controling his thoughts
* Getting rid of negitivity
* 10 week intensive training for each fight…

Randy Coutures main advice for me was to not worry about
being perfect and to be consisten. Practice the 80/20 rule with my
diet and exercise. He said don’t think about dieting but rather think
about changing my eatting habbits. Make sure that 80% of the food
I eat is really good for my body. Have a cookie but not box of cookies.
And exercise must become a way of life.

The one thing that really stood out for me during this interview was
the emphasis he placed on visualization. He runs all his matches
through his mind
every day for 10 weeks before he ever has the
actual match.

So, this was my night with a World Champion.
I just want to say Thanks To Randy Couture for his
advice, his commitment to excellence and for his inspiration.

Before I go to bed tonight, I will spend time visualizing….

That’s all for today…

See you tomorrow,
Robby LeBlanc
